The media game

An interactive workshop designed to compliment student’s media studies.

The workshop gives the students a feeling of “being there” through the use of video clips that clearly show how the media operates.

Topics covered include:

• What’s inside a television newsroom?
• What does it take to be a reporter?
• How is a story is put together?
• The interview
• The live cross

The Media Game also provides the opportunity for students to conduct their own “on camera” interviews, which are video taped and then replayed for critiquing.
